2012 - Our Plans for the Future
Ashton Park students and teachers are planning to go to Kenya in July 2012 for 3 weeks. We are planning to build the last 2 classrooms at Inspirations School . To do this we need to raise £9000.
On plans for the 2012 Expedition:
• 16 students and 4 teachers will be going in July 2012
• The team need to raise £9000 to pay for all of the materials needed for the last 2 classrooms
• To raise the funds we need all the help we can get. (If you know anyone with spare cash let me know!!!)
• Our Fund raising events are: Sponsored Abseil and Bike Race, A Duck Race, keys, Bricks, Toys and Knitted clothing as well as help from friends and the community.

However the main focus for our 2012 expedition is to run our own Olympic event. We will be holding sporting events in both countries at the same time - adding together the house points and coming up with an overall winning house - in both countries. This unique sporting event will use internet links and loads of orgainsation in both countries to make it work - Both Inspirations and Ashton Park sports staff have been planning this event for the last 3 years and it will be a fantastic pre-Olympic event for all
students on both our schools.
