Ashton Park School have been running expeditions to Kenya since the summer of 2004
In 2004 a team of 17 went to Kenya for 3 weeks and built a playground at Inspirations School as well as painting classrooms and teaching the children.
In 2006 a team of 32 went back to Inspirations School and built 2 classrooms and a number of administration rooms including a staff room.
In 2008 a team of 34 are planning to help Inspirations School develop their sporting expertise by building a sports hall and possibly a running track.
The Inspirations expedition is a social enterprise activity run by the students that has raised £11500 for Inspirations School. We hope to raise another £12000 to build the sports hall and we are already thinking about what we could do in 2010
